Anyone have any idea who took this photograph? The scan is from a magazine page I taped in a journal I had in 1995 when I did a year abroad in Florence, Italy. It came out of a magazine but I’m not sure which one, most likely published in the mid 90’s. I could make out from the text from the article that ?someone? put together a book of collected photographs by Kurt Markus, Ken Miller, Bruce Weber, anonymous 30’s pictures, Fernand Fonssagrive, and Steven Meisel. I have no idea who the person is that put the book together, they seem to be the voice of the written article, and no idea who this image belongs to, but when I moved last September I found the magazine page in my journal and fell in love with that image all over again.
